The BM is located on the north face of a rock at the high tide line, 16.4 m east of the old St-Nicolas wharf, 0.6 m from the shore and 1.86 m from the summit, 0.25 m from a beacon, 0.38 m from the ground, 86.5 m from BM 28L61 and 116.0 m from BM 59L3167.
