| Description | A CHS bronze tablet stamped 2-1978 and cemented vertically into smooth rock (lying between the lichen covered rock belt above, and the slime covered rock of the tidal belt below) and being located approximately two-thirds of the way down the east side from the NE corner of Beacon Island. The bench mark lies 15.2 metres south of 1-1978 and 12.2 metres north of 3-1978. 24 hr GPS station occupation in 2011. |
