| Description | A CHS bronze tablet stamped BM 1-1984 and set vertically in bedrock on the east side of Gillies Island in the Nastapoka Island Chain on the east side of Hudson Bay, immediately west of Umiujaq New Quebec. It is located on the third prominent point north of the south tip of Gillies Island. It is 10 metres west of the cliff-water interface and 16 metres ENE of a large buff coloured sandstone boulder 2 metres in diameter. Location updated based on Google Earth and BM description. |
