A G.S.C. bronze tablet stamped 420-A-3 set in concrete supporting pier (footing) at Canadian Pacific Railway viaduct in town fourth truss support from northwest end of viaduct (First Steel truss east of James Street/Bay Street off Great North Rd). Tablet in centre of east face of northwest pier (one offour) 50 cm below top of pier. Fourth truss support from west end of viaduct, (First truss east of James Street off Great North Rd). Tablet in centre of south face of southwest pier (one of four), 50 cm below top of pier. Horizontal Position updated to NAD83CSRS in January 2010. Coordinates updated based on 2022 field notes with GPS handheld +/-3m accuracy. |
