A C.H.S. bronze tablet stamped 1-1975 and set vertically in the concrete wharf in Port Elgin Harbour, Ontario. It is approximately half way along the southern wharf and 3.4m south of the north edge of the wharf. It is 0.36m north of south wall and 50.4 m east from the outer breakwall stairs.
Approximate coordinates updated October 2018 based on and Google Earth (previous position: N 44.446667, W 81.403333). Condition updated to destroyed based on May 2019 field notes, pier likely resurfaced in 2013. |
