A Canadian Hydrographic Service bronze tablet stamped ABC-1 1973, set vertically in the horizontal face of the concrete base of the old lighthouse, 0.66 metres southerly of the door. The lighthouse is located just south of the government wharf at the mouth of the Thames River in the southeast
end of Lake St. Clair.
