| Description | Situated at the east side of the Hudson Bay Company wharf. It is embedded in a large grey granite boulder which is at the high water mark. This is the largest boulder on the shore line. It is marked Canadian Hydrographic Service No. 2-1956. A Geodetic rock post is 0.6 metres north of BM 2. Based on the significant erosion of the riverbank, it appears that benchmark 2-1956 has vanished. |
