| Description | A Hydrographic Service bronze tablet marked BM 1, cemented into the bedrock on the NW face of a small cliff at the point on the south side of Johnston Cove, southeast of the shaft at the North Rankin Nickel Mine. It lies at the east end of a narrow ledge and about 1m above high water.
