| Description | A permafrost BM consisting of a geodetic survey BM pipe about 1m long with a base flange embedded in the permafrost and jacketted through the active layer by a .10m dia. pipe about .6m long filled with grease to prevent frost heave. It is about 2m SE of the flag staff and thermometer screens at Isachsen weather station. Established in 1960. |
