Geodetic Survey of Canada tablet stamped 70U311, set vertically on CPR concrete box culvert (4 m) on the SW side of Trans-Canada Highway (no. 17), 0.5 km NW of junction with John Street, 41 m NW of "Spanish" sign, 12 m NW of older box culvert, tablet on top at the S corner, 31.7 m from highway center line, 3.5 m SW of center of the tracks, 34 cm from the SE edge and 19 cm from the SW end of the culvert, slightly below track level. Benchmark unassigned as holding benchmark in 2021.
